Inside Vera's festivities we can stand out the following holidays that no visitor should stop enjoying.

Holy week (Semana Santa).Begins on previous Sunday to the Palm Sunday and for one week the local brotherhood develop processions and liturgical acts with the images of the Virgin of The Distresses (Virgen de Las Angustias), The Nazarene (El Nazareno), The Group of San Cleofás (El Grupo de San Cleofás) and The Entry's Passage of Jesus from Jerusalem (El Paso de la Entrada de Jesús de Jerusalén).

Carnivals (Carnavales).Popular parties where there take place parades of groups and floats and dances of mask and disguises.

Patron Saint Holidays (Fiestas Patronales).They are celebrated in honour to the Virgin of The Distresses (Virgen de Las Angustias) in June 10th, and those to his Patron Saint, San Cleofás, On September 25.

Pilgrimage of the Virgin of The Gardens (Romería de la Virgen de Las Huertas).): It is celebrated the first weekend of September.

San Juan.Popular party celebrated on June 24th, typical for the bonfires that are done in the beach.

Day of the Old woman (Día de la Vieja).It is celebrated to half of Lent and consists of going out to the field to eat with the family or the friends.
